Bead for Life 2008 BeadforLife Community Event July 12^th through August 3^rd In 2007 we raised $7,561 THANK YOU! 'Kamu Kamu gwe mugaanda' or 'One by One Makes a Bundle' - an African proverb Thank you so much for attending the BeadforLife Charity Event! The Uganda women are so grateful for the funds raised and for your support.  Together, we raised $7,561!  Your money will go far in the hands of the beaders and is used primarily for food, rent, medicine, and school expenses. ·$185 will send a child to school for one year including supplies, uniform, lunch; ·$10 will pay the rent for a month; ·$25 provides AIDS medicine for one month; ·$4 buys a pair of shoes; ·$1-3 buys food for a family for a day. Your participation and generosity do make a difference. All of us together make up the BeadforLife Circle; the Ugandans, the party hosts, the volunteers, those who buy these beautiful beads those that gift the beads, wear the beads, & love the beads.
